I have slept in NWC rooms for 3 times in last year and a half (twice one month and once two weeks) and I can reccommend it to everyone who does not desire for high level of comfort. Rooms are clean and have all the basic equipment needed, shower is ok and working and the toilet is private just for 2 rooms. Location is great – not far from the center of the town and on the other hand in Nyamirambo (Biryogo) which is (in my opinion) the most interesting part of Kigali for most of the visitors.
    I trully reccommend it!

I stayed at the NWC for a couple of weeks. The rooms are simple but clean, you get everything you need, the ladies are very friendly and the food is delicious. There are several shops and the market nearby. The NWC office has a couple of computers and a wireless connection.
    I would absolutely recommend it!

I stayed with NWC for 7 months (yes, I liked it that much ;-)) in 2011. I love Biryogo, it is very different from the showy city center and forms one of the oldest districts of Kigali. The greater district of Nyamirambo is lively and colourful. Whenever you go out there’s something new to discover. It’s not where you should go if you like your hotel room to posh and spik and span. But if you want to discover where the action is happening in Kigali, this might be your place to be. It is the only place in the city where you can get food 24/7 (try amandazi in any shop or the simple but good and cheap dishes at new happy or le palmier) and the parties are sweaty. I always felt safe and walked all over the neighbourhood at night and went jogging early in the morning (still, it is always wise to be on alert of course). I loved the women of NWC. And don’t worry, you do get used to prayer calls at 4.30 in the morning! The shower is cold but since the weather is not I didn’t mind. If you stay there, try the wonderful avocados and mangos fresh from the market, stroll through the district and get a glass of milk from the shop next door.
