Can highly rate the new Ruzizi Tented Camp down by Lake Ihema in Akagera. 7 tents with good solid bathrooms out back and all linked by stilted walkways that the hippos etc can pass under undisturbed, well spaced out and with glimpses of the lake through riverine trees, scrub and papyrus. Set under big palms and fig trees and with a great deck and fire pit overlooking the lake. Great place for bird watching. Of course all the game was found in the north of the park but they have new boats down there now, some for guests. Food was excellent. The fence will be complete soon this year and then African Parks are going to restock with lion and rhino.
